Automation Personnel Services is looking for a CNC Machine Shop Supervisor for a company based in North Houston, Tx.

Pay Rate

$32.00per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday – Friday

2:30pm – 10:30pm or 10:00pm – 6:00am

CNC Machine Shop Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing the production staff and planning operations, work order scheduling, and communicating with Expeditors, Engineering, and upper Management the operation of production daily.

• Generate programs for CNC Machines, assist operators with setups and production runs, and ensure the due dates, quality standards, callouts on drawings, and production goals are • Periodically report to upper management, about productivity and performance of employees, as well as reports and documentation.

• Generate programs for CNC Machines, assist operators with setups and production runs, and ensure the due dates, quality standards, callouts on drawings, and production goals are met.

• Participate and implement safety methods to ensure staff are in a safe environment, as well as improve techniques and strategies to improve the performance of employees.

• Develop and research new tooling and techniques with vendors, Tool Room Specialist, and upper management, to improve quality and production standards.

CNC Machine Shop Supervisor Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-3 or more years of experience in the field.

• Strong analytical and leadership skills.

• Attention to detail.

• Thorough understanding of CNC Machines.

• Ability to lift 50llbs.

• Ability to stand, bend, grasp and reach throughout shift.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
