Requirement of the Industrial Machine Final Integration Supervisor
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for ALL manufacturing effort between all 4 walls of the entire Manufacturing Floor.
The Electrical Supervisor and all skilled trades employees and contractors report to the Final Integration Supervisor.
Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures, recommending disciplinary actions of employees to senior management for approval.
Completes production plan by proactively reviewing current and upcoming workload, scheduling and assigning personnel as often as required; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; meeting schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, answering questions and responding to requests.
Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action to Management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
The following requirements are essential for this position:
Must be fluent in mechanical systems for industrial machines
Must be fluent in reading, understand, and interpret mechanical drawings
Competent in Unigraphics and AutoCAD files in regards to viewing, printing, red lining etc.
Ability to check mechanical designs for errors or inconsistencies
Ability to formulate testing procedures for quality checking
Ability to collect data and write technical reports
Experience in understanding and following customer specifications
Assist in equipment concepts.
Monitor and act to ensure on time deliveries of manufacturing phases.
Managing a team of controls and mechanical engineers, designers and drafters.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Overall Experience a minimum of ten years experience related to Industrial Machine Design or Assembly
Job Training employees in this position usually require training involving on-the-job experience, informal training with experienced workers, and formal training with qualified experts.
Education A minimum of ten years related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
TRAVEL
Travel may be required for visiting customer sites, external suppliers etc. Possession of a valid U.S. passport may be required. The length of the stay will vary depending on complexity of the quality issue, but a total of 10% is possible.
