Maintenance Manager
Job Overview:
Oversee maintenance and repair of all production equipment, facilities, and infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency.
Coordinate maintenance efforts with production, engineering, and other departments to support operational goals.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and shop performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and conduct daily activities to promote effective communication of goals.
Develop and implement high quality, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
Ensure all machinery, tools, and systems are maintained in safe and efficient working conditions.
Manage maintenance budgets, parts inventory, and Vendor relationships.
Monitor and track maintenance key performance indicators to highlight areas for improvement and focus.
Schedule and oversee maintenance work during planned downtimes and shutdowns ensuring the team is aware of all plans.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and safety checks.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and safety teams to drive operational improvements and training with operations and machining professionals to ensure preventative action.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory safety standards.
Manage maintenance team and coordinate project responsibilities ensuring efficient and timely completion of all projects.
Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience.
5–10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Demonstration of a positive attitude that impacts the existing company culture.
2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
Ability and eagerness to learn new skills and adjust to increased workloads displaying a helpful work ethic.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with production teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data to verify meets high quality standards.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Experience with ERP systems.
Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
