The Graphic Design Coordinator works in partnership with all departments of NPHX and the greater organization, to create impactful, mission specific, relevant and influential content that communicates intended vision with excellence.Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION (SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & EDUCATION)
• 3-plus years of graphic design, marketing and/or communications experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing and/or comparable education preferred.
• Demonstrated ability (minimum 2 years) of creating clear and compelling content that inspires and motivates people to take a specific action.
• Highly relational—ability to encourage and work together with people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and collaborate with different departments with great hospitality.

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro) with working knowledge of content management systems, HTML coding, and digital graphics production.
• Proficiency in copywriting, general graphic design, layout and publishing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Familiarity with social media platforms and social media marketing best practices.
• Experience with search engine marketing, Google Analytics, and Google AdWords.
• Experience managing digital content on multiple platforms.
• A committed Christian living a life of obedience; beliefs consistent with NPHX Church statement of faith.
• Must become a member of NPHX Church.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Evaluation of these responsibilities listed on review forms)
NPHX Church & Community Engagement Ministries support: ~80%
• Collaborates with all departments in strategic, communication initiatives to reach and equip people with the gospel of Jesus.
• Provides hospitable and inviting support to all departments and ministries, in brainstorming and identifying marketing, design, communications and social media needs.
• Checks in regularly with all departments and ministries to better understand their needs throughout the year.
• Ensures all communication and design via posters, handouts, banners, ad slides, social media posts, ministry curriculum, marketing materials, websites and more, are easy to understand, have clear headlines and are impactful in their purpose.
• Continually researches and creates fresh ways to highlight ministries, making it easy to join communities, engage in classes and volunteer to serve.
• Works closely with Worship Arts Director in all designs and deliverables to reflect clear branding and united vision.
• Ideates and creates posters, banners, marketing material, handouts, slides as well as website and online digital and graphic needs.
Other duties: ~20%
• Manages all weekend service visuals alongside the Technical Director and Production Director including, all sermon visual needs, pre/post service marketing slides, in service announcement slides, worship lyric moving backgrounds and more.
• Ensures all visuals for the weekend services, including videos, stills, text and photos are proofed for spelling, formatting, visual quality, appropriateness, effectivity, color quality and cohesiveness thematically.
• Participates in all meetings for service planning, marketing, weekend service operations, volunteer care, culture building, team building, personal development and more, initiated by the Worship Arts Director.
• Works closely with Production, Worship, Creative/Media and Communication teams, assisting in various duties assigned by the Worship Arts Director.
