Salary: Up to $15.00 an hour

We are seeking a responsible, dependable, and detail-oriented Temporary Summer Maintenance & Cleaning Assistant to join our team for the summer season. This individual will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the property while supporting both the maintenance and office teams with daily operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in property management and light maintenance.

Qualifications:

Ability to perform light maintenance and physical tasks (lifting, standing, bending, etc.)

Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and safety protocols

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Dependable with a strong work ethic

Must have reliable transportation and a working phone

Availability to work weekends and evenings, if needed

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in janitorial, cleaning, hospitality, or property maintenance is a plus, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the Vie Fit fitness center, common areas, offices, kitchen, clubhouse, model units, and other shared spaces.

Assist with trash pickup and proper disposal across the property, including grounds and common areas.

Support the team in unit turnovers, including cleaning and preparing vacant units for new residents.

Assist with resident events and community functions, as needed.

Ensure brand standards are upheld, including ambiance (e.g., music playing, TVs on, scents distributed in lobby/model units).

Report and assist with resolving maintenance concerns, such as burnt-out lights or unusual property conditions.

Ensure all maintenance tools/supplies are stored safely to prevent hazards.

Enter occupied units for scheduled cleaning, as requested, maintaining professional and respectful conduct at all times.

Attend scheduled staff meetings and trainings.

Support the maintenance team in emergency response, as needed.
