Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capital Project Manager to oversee and manage a portfolio of capital expenditure projects in a USDA-regulated environment from inception to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional project management skills and a strong financial acumen to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with the company's strategic goals.Requirements:

· Lead and manage all phases of capital expenditure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with company objectives and compliance with regulatory requirements[AP1]

· Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, engineering, operations, and procurement, to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle

· Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support capital budgeting decisions, including feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, and return on investment evaluations.

· Monitor and report on project performance, including tracking milestones, budgets, and resource utilization, and provide regular updates to senior management.

· Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with capital projects, ensuring proactive communication and resolution of issues as they arise.

· Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes, capture lessons learned and recommend improvements for future projects.

· Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to capital expenditures and project management.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or PMP certification is preferred.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in capital expenditure or related fields.

· Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects with complex requirements and multiple stakeholders.

· Strong analytical and financial analysis skills, with experience in capital budgeting and forecasting.

· Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex process safety issues and develop effective solutions.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

· Proficient in project management and analytical software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel and data analysis tools)

· Professional certifications such as Certified Process Safety Professional (CCPSC), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Food Safety Manager (CFM) are desirable.
