America’s Floor Source, one of the nation’s largest flooring companies, is seeking a full-time Purchasing Assistant/Receptionist for its Columbus headquarters. Candidate will assist with the purchasing and order management for all locations as well as greet guests and answer a select small amount of inbound phone calls. Candidate will be responsible for data entry, maintaining and entering purchase orders, updating ordering confirmations, monitoring inventory levels, and working with accounts payable regarding supplier and vendor invoices. Candidate will also be responsible for greeting incoming guests, receiving deliveries, and answering and routing a small number of incoming phone calls.
Job Requirements
Well-versed with Windows PC applications, including the ability to learn new software platforms
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Professional demeanor and ability to present yourself well to the public and on the phone
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
Sound decision-making and problem solving skills
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and accountable
