ROLE PAY GRADE: 15B – Min: $81,800 – Mid: $109,100
Scheduled Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. This role will be a combination of remote and in office work, with the ability to attend meetings on-site as appropriate. Candidates who are performing work remotely must live in Kansas or Missouri.
The Evergy Human Resources Department is currently looking for a talent development program manager to join our talent development team to design, develop, and deliver learning solutions and programs for varying levels of leadership throughout the organization, in alignment with our company’s talent framework. Summary of Primary Duties:
This position will report directly to the Manager, Talent Development, and will lead the design, development, delivery, and ongoing implementation of leadership-focused learning programs. This includes identifying learning needs, developing and curating learning content, facilitating in-person and virtual trainings, and utilizing data and stakeholder feedback to iterate on our current programs. This position will work collaboratively within HR (e.g., partnering regularly with our HR Business Partners) and with key stakeholders across Evergy.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Program Management:
Administer leadership programs
Evaluate and iterate training offerings
Monitor and maintain course enrollment reporting through our online LMS
Identify, monitor, and report on success metrics for training programs
Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen
Course Facilitation:
Facilitate virtual and in-person training
Design, develop, and deliver multi-channel communications
Training Design:
Design, deliver, and manage comprehensive training programs
Create content using Articulate 360 Suite
Research and curate training content
Assist in the development of facilitation guides, manuals, exercises, trainer guides and other materials to enhance learning
Manage multiple assignments and special projects
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirement:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field. At least 5 years’ experience in designing, curating, and delivering training and education programs is required. Ability to successfully work across multiple functions and teams while managing tight deadlines is critical for this role. The position requires outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills. This position requires the ability to create momentum and inspire others to action. The position also requires the ability to use and leverage technology to provide training solutions online, for remote audiences, or via other electronic platforms.

Working Conditions:
The job requires travel throughout the company’s service territory on a regular basis.
