Job Summary
Upon joining our team as a PCB Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for PCB schematic design, component selection, directing PCB layout, performing design reviews, coordinating layout reviews, and bringing up/debugging hardware for regression systems while working independently in the lab. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create next-generation interconnect solutions with single-lane rates of 56G, 112G, and 224G connectivity products.
Key Responsibilities:
Design hardware that entails working with cross-functional groups to continually push the boundaries of technology implemented in Credo's products, including high-speed data path design, signal integrity, and crosstalk analysis
Help define exciting product features that create better products
Solve challenging engineering problems by selecting components, designing schematics, directing layout, and bringing up/debugging circuits in the lab
Utilize state-of-the-art test equipment to perform characterization of circuits
Basic Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
5+ years of hands-on experience in prototyping, bring-up, debug, and validation
Relevant industry experience designing high-speed SerDes and FPGA systems
Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals (analog/digital design, signal/power integrity, etc.)
Proficiency in lab environments using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, logic analyzers, etc.
Experience with PCB design and common electrical interfaces: High-speed SerDes, I2C/MDIO/SMBus
Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: DSP, MCU, FPGA, power (DC-DC converters, power management, low-power design)
Proficiency with Cadence OrCAD and Allegro

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time
Experience collaborating with mechanical design and software development teams
