Position Overview

The Knowlton Landscape Architecture section is accepting applications for a full-time Senior Lecturer appointment to teach undergraduate and/or graduate course(s)in the Landscape Architecture Section. Duties include but are not limited to: curriculum/syllabus design, content and materials development, teaching, and activities related to the Midwest Landscape Lab. The selected candidate(s) will be expected to complete activities and provide support for developing and teaching undergraduate and/or graduate students, depending on chosen candidate’s degree certification.

All courses are taught in person on the University’s main campus in Columbus, Ohio.

Education and Experience Requirements

MLA degree or equivalent terminal degree in related field.

Three to five years of teaching and/or industry related experience in the fields of landscape architecture, architecture, or related areas.

Strong interpersonal skills.

A commitment to or demonstrated efforts in teaching that reflect Ohio State’s Shared Values.
