The lab of Dr. Anant Agarwal, Electrical and Computer Engineering, College of Engineering, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, seeks a Research Technician. The position will offer competitive salary and benefits.
The Research Technician independently conducts measurements on commercial or research SiC power MOSFETs. These include but are not limited to standard IV/CV measurements, TDDB, BTI, SC, DPT, Dit, etc. These tests will be conducted on either packaged devices or on-wafer device; Resets test setups for new tests after previous test is completed. Construct cables and PCBs for new test setups and inspects and repairs current cables/PCBs/setups as needed. Maintains test setups to ensure optimal test throughput and accuracy; Writes, edits, or creates programs in MATLAB to process collected data. These programs would take raw data files as inputs and output another file with desired processed data. Also plots data and creates presentations for display to team members, PIs, and sponsors; and finally, assists with lab management activities, including basic training of new members and helping with scheduling.
Additional Information:

Required: Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of two years equivalent experience in a research lab.
