Position Overview

The Department of Global Engineering is accepting applications for a Semester Lecture appointment (temporary position) to teach undergraduate and/or graduate course(s)in the Department of Global Engineering. Duties include but are not limited to: holding office hours; grading assignments and submitting grades; may participate in curriculum development; traveling abroad and course coordination.

All courses are taught in person on the University’s main campus in Columbus, Ohio.

Presenting course material and guiding students through assignments

Collaboration with fellow instructors

Education and Experience Requirements

Master’s degree or equivalent

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills

A commitment to or demonstrated efforts in teaching that reflect Ohio State’s Shared Values.

Desired Qualifications

Experience teaching in a learning setting including, but not limited to, K-12 classroom experience or higher education teaching as an instructor of record or graduate teaching assistant.
