Pay rate: $25-$29.49/hr based on education and experience

Schedule: M-F, 1st shift (8:30am â 5pm, with some flex on start time)

Description:

The Lab Services Concierge serves as the main point of contact for laboratory staff, coordinating and facilitating day-to-day lab needs, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining compliance with safety and documentation standards. This role combines logistical support, vendor coordination, and customer service within a scientific environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lab Coordination: Oversee lab consumables, equipment, and waste management while ensuring the lab is organized and compliant with safety protocols.

Vendor Liaison: Escort and coordinate with third-party vendors for repairs and maintenance.

Customer Support: Communicate updates, provide onboarding for new staff, and address service requests promptly.

Process Improvement: Apply 5S principles and ensure Good Documentation Practices.

Cold Storage Management: Manage freezer and refrigerator cleanouts, inventory transfers, and outage communications.

Compliance & Safety: Maintain health and safety training and ensure adherence to GLP/GxP standards.

Education & Experience:

Associate's degree with 1+ years in a scientific, customer-facing role, OR

High School Diploma with 2+ years of similar experience, OR

Certification in Project Management, Six Sigma, or related fields preferred.

Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, experience with 5S principles, and basic knowledge of chemical handling.

Soft Skills: Strong customer service, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Work Environment:

Requires use of personal protective equipment in laboratory settings.

Physical demands include occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs.), movement between labs, and handling hazardous materials.

May include on-call responsibilities to address equipment failures.
