Role:
We seek an executive with full financial responsibility in an industrial services business who can drive a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of the company's financial health.
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Financial Officer will provide the financial acumen and leadership needed to grow the company's market position and drive performance improvement, working capital, capital allocation, and operational metrics.
Functional responsibilities will include financial/operational reporting and internal control, cash and credit facilities management, financial planning and analysis, risk management operations, and cost control.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the performance of the organization's accounting and finance functions at all levels, both at corporate and in the field/acquired companies.
Evaluate, manage, and motivate the accounting and finance team with a strong emphasis on planning, organization, preparation, follow-up, and internal communication.
Provide executive presence to an audience of both internal and external stakeholders, including the executive management team, Board of Directors PE Firm, lenders, and other parties.
Provide field management with meaningful financial information and analysis to support continual progress in operating performance.
Direct the timely preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Prepare budgets and forecasts and develop analytical tools to help proactively drive business results.
Evaluate and advise on growth initiatives and acquisitions.
Led the financial integration of acquired entities.
Maintain compliance with lender requirements in a leveraged private equity environment, including compliance with lender covenants on existing debt.
Lead all aspects of the treasury function, including cash, accounts receivable, and interest rate management.
Develop and manage cash flow forecasts.
Qualifications:
Fifteen plus years of experience in a finance and accounting function, including at least five years of executive-level finance leadership with the responsibility for the accounting function of an entire organization or a large business unit within a company.
Experience working with a private equity investor
Experience working in the industrial services/field services sectors
Strong working knowledge of accounting and reporting standards.
Experience mining, manipulating, and using data to measure performance.
Acquisition integration experience.
