SupplyHouse.com, a successful e-commerce heating, plumbing, and HVAC supply company, is seeking a Senior Facilities Associate to add to our fulfillment team in our Nevada location! The Senior Facilities Associate is responsible for overseeing all installations, repairs, and upkeep of the facility. They will enable us to ensure safety standards are continually met and all facilities are operational and accessible for team members on site. Job Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Location: Reno, NV

Shift: Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm PST

Base Pay Rate: $31.15/hour (paid weekly)

Responsibilities:

Perform routine and complex maintenance and repairs on fulfillment machinery, equipment, systems, and facilities

Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustments or repairs

Troubleshoot and repair systems, forklifts, dock doors, plumbing, lighting, and general fulfillment infrastructure

Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation

Assist with facility improvement projects and support inventory of tools, equipment, and parts

Coordinate with third-party contractors or vendors for specialized repairs or inspections

Negotiate contracts and prices with vendors and contractors

Communicate effectively with supervisors, associates and other relevant parties

Identify potential hazards associated with maintenance activities and assess the risk involved, developing control measures to mitigate those risks

Develop and implement safety plans and procedures for various maintenance activities including lockout/tag out procedures, incident reporting and emergency response

Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, standards and industry best practices

Maintain and ensure proper use of safety equipment and tools, including personal protective equipment (PPE)

Position Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Fundamental understanding of inventory, supply chain and logistics concepts

Experience in warehouse, industrial, or commercial maintenance

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (especially Word, Outlook, and Excel)

Strong problem-solving, time management, communication, multitasking, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently

Experience with PLC

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing (6+ hours) and performing physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs, including but not limited to: walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and handling various items

Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse setting with extreme hot and cold temperatures and moderate-high noise levels

Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds

Ability to learn & operate PIT equipment
