Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems for end-users, both on-site and remotely.
Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
Providing technical assistance to users, including training on software and hardware, and answering questions.
Understanding basic networking concepts and potentially working with security protocols.
Documenting troubleshooting procedures, maintaining user records, and tracking hardware and software inventory.
Working with other IT staff and users to identify and resolve problems, often communicating solutions clearly.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking.
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with users.
Patient, friendly, and able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
5+ years of Experience
An associate's degree in IT or a related field is often preferred, and certifications like CompTIA A+ and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) can be beneficial.
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm
Salary Range: $22.00 To $26.00 Hourly DOE
