A premier legal team is seeking a mid-level associate (4-6 years of experience) to join its cyber/data privacy litigation and regulatory investigations practice.
Position Responsibilities:
Represent clients in regulatory investigations and enforcement actions involving privacy and data security issues
Defend companies in data privacy and security class actions, including matters related to consumer protection laws and data breach litigation
Advise clients on compliance with evolving data protection laws and enforcement trends
Engage directly with clients, regulatory agencies, and opposing counsel on privacy and cybersecurity matters
Work on high-profile cases involving state AGs, the FTC, and other regulatory bodies
Qualifications:
4-6 years of experience in regulatory investigations or litigation related to consumer protection, privacy, and cybersecurity
Experience defending claims involving data breaches, unfair and deceptive trade practices, or wiretapping laws
Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
Ability to lead significant projects and engage directly with clients
General tech fluency and an understanding of evolving privacy and cybersecurity regulations
Exceptional academic credentials from a recognized law school (include law school transcript in application)
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary ($310,000 - $390,000) based on experience and location
