Essential Functions

What You'll Do:

Key Responsibilities

As a Custodian, you will:

Clean and maintain County buildings, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waxing floors

Sanitize restrooms, meeting rooms, sidewalks, and high-touch surfaces

Empty trash, restock supplies, and straighten offices to maintain a professional appearance

Perform ground maintenance and seasonal tasks as needed

Operate cleaning tools and floor equipment such as buffers and vacuums

Ensure secure and confidential handling of materials encountered during cleaning Typical Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Must possess cleaning, maintenance, and/or housekeeping experience.

Must have reliable transportation, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and high standard of confidentiality as this role will support the Public Safety Building.

Must successfully pass an FBI Criminal Justice Information Services training and FBI Criminal Background check.
