Compliance Manager Finance - Bag In Box

Bag-in-Box® is a sustainable choice of packaging for many industries such as wine, juice, liquid eggs, dairy and also non-food applications such as motor oil and chemicals. Our Vitop® Original tap is the most commonly used for Bag-in-Box® wines and juices in the world for its exceptional and consistent quality - with a leak rate of less than 1 in 85 million since its launch. We are looking for a self-motivated, proactive and hands-on finance professional with a background in auditing to join the central finance function.

The position will primarily focus on testing and providing the business with a strong support to ensure full compliance with the Group's internal control framework and policies across the various BIB sites (France, Spain, Italy, Argentina, Germany, Mexico, Canada and US), and will require flexibility to frequent travel.

In addition to risk assessment, testing, challenging and ensuring a robust control environment, the successful candidate will also be at the forefront of helping with

continuous improvement, standardisation of processes, policy training, onboarding new finance personnel and many other tasks that arise from time to time. This is an exciting role and an opportunity to work in a dynamic, global and multi-cultural environment.

Primary Duties

Management of the Financial Monitoring Programme including preparation of the FMP risk assessment and testing plan, testing of internal controls and follow-up to solve FMP fails.

Work in close cooperation with management at production facilities on remediation plans, leading the definition and timely implementation of appropriate solutions to control failures, ensuring the controls are adapted to the local risk and materiality by providing guidance on thresholds, deviations, delegation, and so on.

Harmonise controls and foster cross-learning across the entities, by ensuring that findings and best practices are identified and shared.

Provide BIB Divisional management with progress status on FMP plans, audit findings resolution at sites, highlighting areas of risk and recommendation of corrective measures.

Lead, assist and support the internal audit process at the sites, but not limited to audit preparation and audit report review.

Act as the "compliance expert" and organize presentations to management or trainings where required.

Management of ad-hoc compliance projects, for example; GDPR, sanctions screening and so on.

The role will require flexibility to travel in the region on a regular basis. Job Requirements

Proven financial background, preferably with a recognised accounting qualification or advanced level finance qualifications. Understanding of financial cycles and corresponding control functions is essential.

Fluency in English, written & oral is a must-have. Any knowledge of French, Italian or Spanish would be a distinct advantage.

Experience in financial positions with a specific focus on auditing is an advantage.

Good knowledge of SAP and / or Order-to-Cash system controls is an advantage.

Experience of a SOX control environment would be beneficial.
