Special Services SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The Milford School District is seeking a Paraprofessional for Extended School Year (ESY) services. The ESY Paraprofessional will assist students in the areas of academics, behavioral, communication and personal care as identified in their Individual Education Program. This position supports a student in fulfilling their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and psychological growth resulting in accessing the general curriculum.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED required. Associate's Degree preferred.

Two years of experience in an education related field including preschool, adult day program, after school program, extended day, or school/non-school based departments, etc. preferred.

Any combinations of applicable education, training, and experience which provide the knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position may be considered. SCHEDULE:

July 7, 2025 - August 7, 2024.

Tuesday - Thursday

Up to 15 hours per week.

RATE:

ParaEducator II = $28.00 per hour

ParaEducator I = $25.00 per hour
