CDL Driver - Cedar Springs

Success in this position Includes the following:

Constantly being observant and attentive to potential safety hazards and working in a safe and responsible manner.

Safely driving truck hauling trash and recycling to landfills or processing facilities. Schedule:

Monday through Friday (occasional Saturdays)

5:00 a.m. start time Accountabilities Include the Following:

Serving as residential driver

Safely and effectively operating automatic side-load (ASL)

Residential service - pulling rolling carts onto a semi-automated lift and operate hydraulic lift controls to tip cart into truck or lift and tip other containers filled with trash as well as bags of garbage and loose large items into waist-high hopper (or operation an automated side load truck by using a joy stick to pick up/dump/replace containers, as well as physically exit truck and toss additional trash items into truck) Qualifications Include the Following:

CDL B with airbrakes required

Good driving record

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Ability to work a physically demanding job

Ability to perform physical requirements of position and pass a physical and drug screen including marijuana (pre-hire and random)
