CNC Machinist 1st shift

Inova Staffing is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join one of our clients in Willoughby, OH.

Requirements:

CNC Machining experience or mechanical experience$20-$30 an hour/based on experience

1st shift 7am-3:30pm Monday - Friday

A CNC lathe and mill operator, also known as a CNC operator or machining tool operator, has a variety of responsibilities, including:

Setting up and operating machinery

CNC operators set up and operate computer numerical controlled (CNC) machines, such as lathes and mills, to create parts and tools. They install and adjust tools, chucks, and attachments, and load feed mechanisms.

Reading blueprints

CNC operators study blueprints, engineering plans, and work orders to plan machining. They translate these blueprints into measurements for production.

Maintaining machinery

CNC operators perform daily maintenance on their machines, including completing preventive maintenance and calling for repairs. They also maintain coolant and oil levels.

Ensuring quality

CNC operators inspect the machinery and product for quality assurance. They also maintain specifications by observing cutting, turning, and other operations.

Following safety procedures

CNC operators adhere to safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
