Job Description
We’re hiring an Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a well known gas connection hose manufacturer in Export. Experience REQUIRED. Steel Toed Shoes required.
Mechanical Maintenance Technician role includes:
Repair and maintenance of light industrial manufacturing equipment
Troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems, and preventative maintenance of production machinery and plant facility
Perform basic mechanical and electrical repairs to manufacturing machinery and plant facility. 4.Complete scheduled tasking for preventive and predictive maintenance program.
Assist tooling department with tooling repair and maintenance related to manufacturing equipment.
Perform troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment.
Perform basic PLC equipment repair and troubleshooting
Capable of basic electrical system installations
Regularly scheduled Over Time is required for this position including weekends.
Mechanical Maintenance Technician Background & Benefits:
Starting wage of $25/hr
2nd Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm Monday – Friday work week.
OT Available

Mechanical Maintenance Technician Education & Qualifications:
High School or GED required
Associates’ Degree in EET, MET, Technical School, or equivalent experience required
Technical Degree & 1+ years' experience OR minimum 5-year experience in maintenance of manufacturing equipment in lieu of technical degree
Strong electrical and mechanical skills.
Forklift experience is a must!
PLC repair and troubleshooting skills are a plus.
Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical and electrical drawings required.
Computer skills using Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel, or equivalent software.
