Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intervention Specialist to join our team in Ohio for the 2025-2026 school year. This part-time position offers 10 hours per week within an afterschool tutoring program designed to support K-12 students. As a VOCO Intervention Specialist, you will work closely with students to provide tailored academic interventions, focusing on their specific learning needs and helping them achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide academic support to students across a K-12 caseload.

Work one-on-one or in small groups to support students' learning needs.

Develop and implement individualized learning strategies and intervention plans.

Collaborate with teachers and staff to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as necessary.

Offer support in a variety of subject areas, as needed, based on students' needs.

Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.

Qualifications:

Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License (or in progress).

Experience working with students in K-12 grades, particularly in academic interventions.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.

Passion for helping students overcome academic challenges and succeed.

Schedule:

Part-time, 10 hours per week.

Afterschool hours tutoring program, flexible scheduling.
