Location: Morton, IL (Onsite: Tues-Thurs)
Estimated Duration: 12 months
Pay Rate: $22-25/hr (W2 + Benefits), $27-29/hr (C2C)
About the Role:
Join our clients dynamic Integrated Logistics team as a Logistics Analyst and play a pivotal role in global supply chain operations. In this position, you will take charge of outbound parts and components shipping from North American manufacturing facilities, with a primary focus on international transportation. Key Responsibilities:
Monitor International Shipments: Track the progress of shipments to ensure on-time delivery and quickly address disruptions.
Problem Resolution: Collaborate with North American facilities and transportation providers (ocean carriers, customs brokers, freight forwarders) to resolve issues.
Customer Service: Provide status updates, handle advancement and change requests, and answer inquiries on costs, transit times, and more.
Administrative Tasks: Manage a shared inbox, compile information for manual PO requests, and perform ad hoc track-and-trace tasks.

What You Bring:
Required Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or GED with 2-4 years of transportation or international supply chain experience; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Experience in customer service with a focus on urgency.
Desired Qualifications:
Background in international shipping, supply chains, or geography.
Degrees in political science, international relations, international business, supply chain, or geography are a plus.
Ability to handle high-stress situations and resolve challenges ranging from labor disruptions to documentation errors.
Work Environment:
Hybrid schedule: Office presence required Tuesday-Thursday; optional remote work on Monday and Friday.
Collaborative environment with frequent interaction with global teams, transportation analysts, and key stakeholders.
