Job Description
We're looking for a motivated, people-focused Business Development Manager to take the lead in supporting and growing our industrial customer base across the Nelson, Tasman and West Coast areas. If you're someone who thrives on face-to-face interaction, understands the needs of industrial clients, and enjoys the autonomy of working regionally - this is your chance to step into a rewarding and grounded role.
About the Role:
Your number one priority will be to help us grow the Anzor brand and user base in the Industrial space, by acquiring new customers every month
Manage and nurture a wide range of accounts accounts across the West Coast
Manage and nurture existing industrial accounts across the Nelson and Tasman region
Develop new business opportunities and grow your customer base
Conduct regular customer visits, site meetings, and check-ins
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and issue resolution
Maintain accurate records and provide insight into regional activity
Regular out of town travel is a key part of supporting customers and building in person relationships

We're after someone:
With an understanding of industrial and engineering products, including materials, processes, and regulations
With proven experience in generating customer sales growth
Comfortable delivering on, and exceeding budget targets
Who is sales process oriented
With drive and commitment
Who is driven to increase sales year on year with a positive attitude
Confident working in diverse and adaptable environments, including industrial and mining sites
With experience in selling fasteners or working in a trade environment (ideal but not mandatory)
