MEMCO is seeking a reliable and experienced Semi Truck/Trailer Driver in Jonesboro, GA!

Schedule: Mon - Fri ; 7am-5pm

Pay: $18-22/hr BOE

Job Overview

MEMCO is hiring a Semi-Truck Driver to transport and organize precast concrete slabs from a manufacturing plant to the supply yard. This role is critical in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials while maintaining yard organization and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a flatbed semi-truck to transport precast concrete slabs.

Load and unload precast concrete using appropriate equipment (cranes, forklifts, etc.).

Organize and sort materials in the supply yard for easy access and inventory tracking.

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers, reporting any maintenance issues.

Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, and secure load procedures.

Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.

Assist with yard maintenance and inventory management as needed.

Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL preferred.

Experience operating flatbed trucks (precast or construction materials preferred).

Ability to secure heavy loads (familiarity with chains, straps, and tie-downs).

Basic understanding of yard operations and inventory organization.

Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

Clean driving record (MVR)

A pre-employment drug screen will be required for all positions.

Must provide documents establishing identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
