The Quality Control Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and control for aggregates products across multiple sites. This role ensures compliance with internal standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements, while driving continuous improvement in product quality and production processes.

Essential Functions

Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems, plans and procedures for aggregate production

Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards

Analyze test results and production data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions

Collaborate with operations, sales, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and support customer satisfaction

Interface with customers and regulatory agencies regarding product quality and compliance

Maintain documentation and records in compliance with regulatory and other applicable standards

Lead internal and external quality audits and manage responses to non-conformance reports

Stay current with industry best practices, technologies, and regulatory changes

Represent US Agg at Industry technical meetings/groups (AASHTO, ASTM, IMAA, etc.) to keep company up to date on developments on industry standards

Assist in supervising and training QC technicians and lab personnel across multiple locations

Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills

Education Qualifications

Required High School or Equivalent

Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Geology, Materials Science, or related field

Experience Qualifications

Required 5+ years experience in quality control within the aggregates, construction materials, or mining industry

Skills and Abilities

Strong knowledge of aggregate testing methods and standards (ASTM, AASHTO, DOT) is preferred

Experience with lab equipment, statistical process control, and quality management systems is preferred

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to travel
