Your Role at Sephora

As a Senior Manager, Social & PR, you will be responsible for shaping and executing Sephora’s social strategy, that drive awareness & credible consideration vs competition across Southeast Asia & Oceania.

This includes delivering a social media platform strategy across earned and owned program, managing & optimising relationships with influencers and creating eventing strategies towards improving our brand health through superior social media results.

In this role, you will report to the Director of integrated Marketing and work cross functionally with all departments to ensure strategy, message and materials are represented online in the most impactful way possible that is on brand. You would also be interfacing with external vendors and internal teams to analyse trends (micro and macro), design new campaigns and/or evolve existing programs with a clear ROI on investment to a desired outcome. You are also expected to work with brand partners, prioritiz-ing Only@Sephora brands to drive differentiation and preferential support towards our larger social strategy.

You must have in-depth knowledge, understanding and experience in digital and social media, and preferably experience and/or interest in beauty.

The successful candidate should be able to harness their understanding of best practices and trends in social media management to position Sephora as a leader vs competition in the digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Observe the latest developments and trends in the beauty industry and formulate social/brand strategies for specific regions/countries, including but not limited to New Market Expansion, Sephora brand equity and new brand launches.

Conduct industry research, create insights vs competition, and in-depth analysis on key social campaigns, influencers programs and platform trends.

Able to set key performance indicators for team and manage, lead and drive social & PR team to meet their targets.

Lead agency relations across all the team projects including heavy involvement on micro influencer program.

Navigate conversations with and advise senior marketing leaders in the brands’ organizations on both the strategic and tactical level.

Advise the brands on how to win at Sephora from an social marketing standpoint across key social programs and platforms.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Build reciprocal partnerships cross-functionally in a highly matrixed organization: merchandising/brands, e-commerce, growth marketing, retail operations, training, and education, creative, CRM & loyalty and analytics teams.

Employ a strategic approach to process; organize and divvy up work effectively.

Serve as mentor and role-model to junior team members and cross-functional partners, even if it is not a direct-reporting relationship.

We’re Excited About You If You

Comes with a Bachelor's Degree or higher in advertising, marketing, communications, or related field

5+ years of experience in social media marketing, digital marketing or a related field

Demonstrated success in developing and implementing social media strategies and campaigns, and developing creative and engaging content for multiple brands/stakeholders

Experience with social media analytics and ability to identify key insights and optimization opportu-nities from the data

Experience managing a budget

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with expertise in creating compelling content across social media platforms

Strong understanding of social media best practices, trends and technologies

Above average analytical skills and attention to detail

Strong leadership, presentation and collaboration skills

Ability to both think big picture and be a visionary/idea generator - leading program vision and planning while also getting involved in the details of program execution

Experience working with cross functional partners or clients to meet their business needs

Ability to organize and manage multiple detail-oriented projects and to meet deadlines

Willingness to approach projects with a can-do attitude and create process where there is no one

Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point
