As the Wealth Advisor, you will lead a highly integrated team-based approach working to ensure the client’s priorities are at the center of every action. The Wealth Advisor works closely with the Financial Planner, Private Banker, Portfolio Manager, Trust Advisor and Service Administrator to build the wealth strategy that aligns with the client’s objectives. This role is hybrid (Tues/Wed/Thur on-site).

How you’ll spend your time:

Deliver financial advice to a limited number of clients.

Support resource to other wealth advisors on team, providing leverage to execute on client advice strategies.

Support the delivery of comprehensive advice and customized wealth management services to clients within the practice.

Develop a deep understanding of the financial planning process with clients.

Deliver wealth, financial planning, insurance, investment, and estate planning advice to clients, as assigned.

Partner with Private Banking team to deliver clients lending, credit, and banking advice.

Proactively understand and act upon trends, attrition risks, and opportunities with clients and prospects.

Adopt new platforms and technologies to drive operational efficiency and enhance the client experience.

Ensure all minimum standards of care are met across all client relationships assigned.

You possess a bachelor’s degree in relevant field or combination of education and experience that provides and equivalent background.

You hold FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 7, 63 and 65) licenses, or ability to attain within 90 days.

You are systems thinking and complex problem solving.

You are highly organized and can effectively multi-task.

You are a professional communicator with interpersonal skills.

You excel at written communication and presentation skills.

You have a high level of emotional intelligence which allow you the ability to read situations accurately and be empathic.

You are a culture carrier and great teammate.

You are proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Bonus points if:

You have applicable experience within financial services.

You are effective in personal networking.

You possess sales skills with acumen to close new business.

You have experience with financial planning.

You have proficiency in Salesforce CRM software, and familiarity in other front office software used by wealth advisors such as eMoney client portal and financial planning software.

You demonstrate proficiency in UMB custody and clearing platforms such as SEI and Fidelity Wealthscape.

You have working knowledge of Workday, Peoplesoft, Archer, Skillport and Hyperion.

Compensation Range:$57,760.00 - $124,170.00

The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
