Informatica Specialist

3+ Mo Contract

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

Review and analyze existing ETL code in Informatica.

Estimate effort, challenges, and risks for migration to Python-based ETL tools.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current ETL processes.

Develop a PoC to demonstrate functionalities on Databricks and/or Amazon Glue.

Validate compatibility and performance of migrated ETL processes.

Document assessment findings and PoC recommendations.

Manage resources efficiently and meet project timelines.

Provide resource recommendations for additional roles if needed. Requirements:

8+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter, ETL workflows, and enterprise data integration

Demonstrated experience migrating ETL environments from legacy tools to modern Python-based platforms (e.g., AWS Glue, Databricks, Airflow)

Hands-on experience in creating technical assessments and client-facing documentation

Strong communication and consulting skills; capable of leading discovery sessions and presenting recommendations

Familiarity with public sector or large enterprise environments preferred

Experience with AWS or cloud-native infrastructure is a plus Highly Preferred Skills:

Any certifications and experience with process improvement techniques (such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile, PDCA cycles, and Kanban), Project Management, Business Analysis, or similar.

Any technical certifications and experience such as ITIL Service Management, Comp TIA certifications, Oracle, Microsoft. Cisco, AWS, certifications, or areas such as IT Governance, IT Auditing, IT Risk Management, etc.

Proficiency in Python, Pandas, and Spark.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
