Are you a seasoned security professional with expertise in both industrial security and cybersecurity? We're looking to fill an Information System Manager and Security position to lead all aspects of our security programs, ensuring full compliance with government regulations, safeguarding sensitive data, and supporting the seamless operation of our client's IT infrastructure.
Salary: $135,000/yr.
Schedule: Hours are somewhat flex for start time, 9-hour days and half day on Friday
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and direct all facility security measures in compliance with NISPOM standards
Oversee personnel security clearances, classified documentation, and security training programs
Lead cybersecurity strategy and implementation to protect against data and system threats
Conduct risk assessments, insider threat analysis, and implement mitigation plans
Maintain working relationships with government agencies and support compliance audits
Monitor, install, and maintain security technologies including firewalls, anti-malware, and intrusion detection systems
Coordinate IT projects, software/hardware maintenance, and system upgrades to support business objectives
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in industrial security, NISPOM, COMSEC, and physical security
Facility Security Officer (FSO) experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
Experience using DISS, NISS, and knowledge of cybersecurity and network management principles
Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT troubleshooting
Familiarity with government security training requirements including FSO and DCSA ISSM RMF
