Haddam-Killingworth High School (1.0 FTE) - High School Guidance Counselor Long Term Substitute

CT School Counselor Certification (068) / High School Experience preferred

Requirements of the position include:

* Strong individual and small group counseling skills

* Serve as 504 Case Manager and organize and facilitate meetings

* Attend MTSS and PPT meetings

* Collaborate effectively with administration, teachers and support services

* Facilitate student development in academic, personal/social and career planning

* Able to work independently and as a team member

* Experience with Naviance, School Links and PowerSchool preferred

* Comfortable presenting to parents and/or students in small and large settings

* Deliver Advisory and Health lessons on topics such as college planning, college search, PSAT prep, using appropriate software/websites, etc.
