Job Description:

You will be responsible for managing, configuring, and supporting Jira environments to ensure that the team can efficiently track and manage tasks, projects, and workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure the effective use of Jira for task management and project tracking. Additionally, you will maintain system integrity, implement best practices for Jira administration, and continuously optimize workflows to improve overall team productivity.

Responsibilities:

Administer and configure Jira environments, including workflows, custom fields, permissions, and notifications

Keep Jira software and add-ons up to date with the latest versions, patches, and security updates

Collaborate with software engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to define and implement Jira best practices for task and project management

Monitor Jira performance and troubleshoot any issues related to access, functionality, or configuration

Maintain accurate documentation of Jira configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps

Analyze team workflows and identify areas for improvement, making recommendations, and implementing changes as needed
