PCR Core Laboratory Technician

Cape Fox subsidiary Eagle Health, LLC is accepting resumes for a PCR Core Laboratory Technician to support the members at Ft. Detrick, Maryland. This position is contingent upon contract award. Incumbents are encouraged to apply!

The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position has been established at:$69,000 - $75,000.

The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn. Responsibilities:

Perform manual, semi-automated and automated experiments and procedures in support of the GLP PCR and PCR-like work, including PCR, immunoassays, sample preparation and DNA/RNA extraction and purifications as well as common microbiology techniques in BSL-2 and BSL-3 environments. Workload is between 1,500 and 3,500 RT-PCR assays and 800 to 3,000 extractions, 20 to 100 immunoassays.

Support the Special Pathogens Laboratory to include, generating and collecting data, reports, findings, providing feedback when requested.

Maintain the laboratory facility and equipment; ensure the safety and cleanliness of work areas and equipment, with less than 1% findings annually and zero (0) serious findings as defined by the applicable regulations and guidelines.

Ensure all experiments are performed and documented IAW applicable regulations dictated by study protocol (i.e. GLP, FDA Animal Rule, CLIP, COLA).

BPRP enrollment is required and will be held and maintained IAW the provisions in this contract and all applicable regulations.
