Automation Technician

Job DescriptionKable Staffing is hiring an Automation Technician for a customer in Miamisburg, OH. This is a full-time position, temp to hire opportunity.FULL JOB DESCRIPTIONPRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Manufacturing floor doing mechanical and electrical assembly of industrial robotic work cells.

The biggest things we look for are a strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with tools, blueprint reading skills, forklift or overhead crane experience.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize automation processes.

Provide training and support to production staff on the operation of automated systems.

Follow all safety protocols and company policies.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with automated equipment.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on robotic and automation systems.

Install, configure, and program automated systems and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

Electrical experience is also good but not required.

Associate degree in Automation Technology, or a related field.

Strong technical skills in programming and configuring automated systems.

Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to automation.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
