Location: Waynesboro, VA, USA

As the Maintenance Planner & Scheduler, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our maintenance activities. From coordinating personnel to fine-tuning timelines, you’ll directly impact the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules for timely work execution

Collaborate with gatekeepers, engineers, and area managers to coordinate priorities.

Proactively manage delays, scope changes, and resource conflicts.

Provide accurate time, cost, and equipment estimates in SAP.

Ensure PM plans are in place with proper time horizons to achieve 100% PM compliance.

Allocate and monitor use of personnel, equipment, and materials.

Ensure availability and optimization of all necessary resources.

Use SAP and scheduling tools to plan, track, and report on maintenance activities.

Maintain accurate documentation including job plans, permits, JSAs, and compliance records.

Provide updates to stakeholders and lead scheduling discussions.

Coordinate cross-functional work across maintenance, operations, and engineering.

Train and support team members; act as backup for other planning staff.

Ensure all activities meet company standards, EHS guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Make authorized purchases in alignment with DOA policies.

Qualifications (Required)

Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Mechanical or electrical aptitude.

Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Physically capable of working in industrial environments (climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs., PPE use).

Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications 3+ years in maintenance or project planning (industrial/engineering environment ).

Experience as a mechanic or control equipment technician.

Certification in Maintenance or Project Planning & Scheduling.
