Join Family Dollar Stores, a leading retailer with over 8,000 locations, as we seek a Regional Operations Manager to drive excellence in store management and operational performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Optimize company profits by overseeing merchandising, operations, and expense management for up to 20 stores.

Recruit, hire, train, and motivate a diverse team to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Achieve and exceed operational goals related to sales, profitability, and expenses through established processes.

Manage operational budgets and develop strategic short- and long-term goals.

Engage in special projects as necessary to enhance store performance.

Utilize strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to connect with all levels of management.

Handle Human Resource and Asset Protection issues effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 5 years of retail experience with over 2 years in multi-store management.

Proven ability to build effective teams and demonstrate strong business acumen.

Customer service-oriented with strong decision-making skills.

Ability to source, identify, and develop talent at all levels.

Drive for results and effective management through systems.

Exhibit managerial courage and process management capabilities.

Excellent motivation skills and presentation abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Education: High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Willingness to travel up to 25% with occasional overnight stays; relocation is a plus.
