PATH is a global organization that works to accelerate health equity by bringing together public institutions, businesses, social enterprises, and investors to solve the world’s most pressing health challenges. With expertise in science, health, economics, technology, advocacy, and dozens of other specialties, PATH develops and scales solutions—including vaccines, drugs, devices, diagnostics, and innovative approaches to strengthening health systems worldwide.

The Global Health Technologies Coalition (GHTC) is a group of around 35 nonprofit organizations and aligned businesses working to increase awareness of the urgent need for technologies that save lives in the developing world. GHTC supports policies and funding that advance research and development for new vaccines, microbicides, drugs, devices, and diagnostics with global health applications.

GHTC is housed at PATH—an international organization that drives transformative innovation to save lives and improve health, especially among women and children—within the Advocacy and Public Policy (APP) department. PATH works to accelerate innovation across five platforms—vaccines, drugs, diagnostics, devices, and system and service innovations—that harness our entrepreneurial approach, scientific and public health expertise, and passion for health equity.
