Job Description:-
Under general supervision, the Project Manager will lead NetSmart implementation for the Behavioral
Health Services Department. The PM will lead and direct cross-functional teams to deliver projects within the constraints of schedule, budget and scope while maintaining quality control and creating business value.
Tasks include scope management, management of constraints, risk management, managing interdependencies with other projects and initiatives, compliance with regulatory and legalrequirements, communications management, problem & issue tracking and resolution.
Responsibilities
Manage IT projects leveraging industry standard processes, tools and techniques Applies Netsmart’s Plexus implementation framework to ensure successful completion of engagement
Lead cross functional teams through all phases of the project lifecycle to successful completion within the constraints of scope, time, quality and budget Effectively communicate and manage project expectations, risks, issues, and status to team members (internal departments, external Facilities and third-party vendors) and stakeholders on a timely and regular basis
Develops detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
Track and mitigate project issues and risks providing timely communication and escalation when required Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
Continually track and monitor project tasks, making the necessary adjustments to ensure milestones are successfully achieved while maintaining project integrity and meeting timelines
Develop and deliver status reports, change management requests, milestone completion
documentation, presentations and other communications Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendations report to identify successfully and unsuccessful project elements
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing
professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices and/or participating in professional societies Performs duties as required and assigned Requirements
Proven work experience in project management, especially in the healthcare environment.
Ability to communicate with stakeholders and form coalitions to further the implementation
Proven ability to manage large, diverse workgroups to define complex workflows
Proven ability to manage complex tasks to integrate behavioral health systems with County’s lab and pharmacy systems
Ability to adapt and be flexible in changing priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Knowledge of workflows relating to Behavioral Health Services
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Projector other Project
