As a Project Controller, you will work closely with the project teams, ensuring the financial transparency of our projects and thus forming the backbone of our company's economic success. You will provide comprehensive project controlling for plant engineering projects – from the sales phase through project launch and execution to final completion.

What you'll do
Become part of the Project Partnering department as a project controller and act as an interface between the finance department, the operational project teams, and the regional finance organizations
Verify the final bid calculations, including the assessment of potential project risks
Support the project teams in preparing budget, forecast, and variance analyses to derive concrete measures and enable optimal project management
Consolidate project-related financial data to ensure the accurate financial presentation of the project to management and the relevant departments always
Regularly analyze the project's progress and derive concrete insights for future projects
Provide prepared information and presentations to management to enable optimal management of the overall profitability of the individual regions
Work with us on the further development of our controlling and reporting processes to further increase transparency and efficiency in project controlling
Provide analytics on a project, department, cost center and profit center basis, comparing actual to plan as well as reporting on trends for all the above
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiencies
What you'll need
Bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, accounting/finance/controlling, or a similar field required
Experience in project controlling complex (large-scale) projects, ideally in the context of industrial plants
Professional expertise in project controlling
Strong communication skills in German and English, a confident demeanor, and a command of management a plus
Familiarity with common project management tools and ERP systems
IT and data affinity, as well as the willingness to familiarize yourself with specialized software tools and data processing systems (e.g., SAP: FI/CO, SAC, PS, S/4HANA)
Strong analytical thinking skills, a strong understanding of numbers, and a structured, responsible, and independent working style
Team spirit and negotiating skills when working in international and interdisciplinary teams
Occasional travel to international companies and projects
During the familiarization period, any missing knowledge can be acquired through internal and external training opportunities.
Understand, prepare and analyze key financial metrics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products required
