The Director of Information Technology (IT) is responsible for overseeing and managing the IT team, technical infrastructure, and technology operations. This role involves leading a team of IT professionals and managing the company's technology operations, including the implementation of new IT systems and policies. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Information Technology and have a proven track record in creating and implementing IT policies and systems. The Director, IT will play a crucial role in executing the IT strategic plan, ensuring alignment with the company's values and goals.
Responsibilities
Oversee all technology operations and evaluate them according to established goals
Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by leadership.
Analyze end user needs to recommend and implement immediate and long-term solutions.
Identify the need for upgrades, changes in configuration, or introduction of new systems
Lead the development and execution of technology plans which align with the strategic plan.
Lead and manage IT resources, coordinate work with external IT teams.
Ensure service-oriented, high quality IT support services.
Ensure stability, performance, continuity, and security of all data and technology services.
Enhance and maintain IT governance, policies and procedures including change management.
Evaluate innovative technologies and make recommendations to senior leadership regarding how these can help the company meet its goals.
Lead execution of IT initiatives.
Collaborate with members of the Leadership Team (business and IT) on key projects and initiatives.
Interact effectively with colleagues at all levels and departments within the organization.
Keeps current with market trends and demands.
Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Extensive experience with Title industry processes.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the Title industry.
Experience with Title industry software and platforms (e.g. Qualia, Resware, SoftPro).
Minimum 6 years of experience managing IT professionals.
Demonstrated skills in leading technology teams.
Ability to manage multiple vendor relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to directly manage multiple simultaneous high-priority initiatives, including project management of cross-functional teams.
Track record of strategic thinking and proven thought leadership.
Strong time management skills to adapt successfully to agility needs in workload.
Demonstrated ability to develop, execute, manage, and influence negotiation strategies.
Executive presence to influence executive-level decision makers.
Ability to manage complex relationships with a variety of stakeholders and partners with a high degree of influence and persuasion.
Successful operation within a team/matrix organization to achieve desired outcomes.
Demonstrated abilities to enact and drive change.
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
