BAE Systems is looking for an Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement Co-op student to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment at their Nashua, New Hampshire facility from September to December 2025. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, and being able to adapt to a rapidly changing production environment brings with it an exciting opportunity to influence the successful execution of production goals and achieving operational excellence.

This role will fill a project gap within our Process/Manufacturing Engineering team. Primary responsibilities will be to support factory change and improvement requests within the Electronic Warfare Integrated Manufacturing Center in South Nashua. The person in this role will manage project lists and follow up on actions with the goal to enhanced factory flow and/or reduce factory variation. As the role matures, the Co-Op candidate will become project manager for these efforts. The role requires a person to have good organizational skills, a self-starting attitude and being comfortable in team environments. Persistence and tenacity are key attributes of the successful candidate! The hiring manager is open to Sophomore-Senior level students.

Currently Enrolled in a Bachelor's program with a Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical concentration

Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively across the organization

Sound interpersonal skills to successfully interface with company personnel at all levels, customers and suppliers.

Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite

Problem solving & statistics

Preferred Skills and Education

Experience managing projects

Familiarity with manufacturing shop layout, material presentation and flow

Familiarity with AutoCAD
