Join Our Team as a Freight Operations Manager

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum 4 years of experience in a related field

Proven supervisory or management capabilities

Background in the less-than-truckload (LTL) industry

Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations, along with OSHA and Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent military or relevant work experience

Experience in LTL freight management or service center leadership

Familiarity with forklift operations

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and influence a team

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for presenting data effectively to diverse audiences

Your Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the delivery service to our customers runs efficiently and effectively

Direct daily operations at the service center

Monitor and manage revenue, profits, and costs

Oversee staffing and effective management of personnel

Mentor and lead all team members at the facility

Physical Requirements:

Frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally more than 75 lbs

Perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, and kneeling

Work outdoors in various weather conditions

Stand and walk for extended periods on the loading dock, which may be slippery and is not climate-controlled
