Position Overview: As the Satellite Operations Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the successful management and operation of our Satellite Site. You will ensure the site operates efficiently and meets the highest standards of service delivery while achieving financial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish the laboratory functions, including site selection, lease negotiations, equipment setup, process transfers, and logistics coordination.

Build and lead a high-performing local team, focusing on training, performance management, and team retention initiatives.

Oversee day-to-day operations including production and logistics to ensure optimal performance standards are met.

Manage inventory effectively to support continuous operation, ensuring there are no stockouts or overstock situations.

Implement systematic management practices for lab instruments and supplies.

Introduce a 6S management system to enhance safety and productivity in the workspace.

Identify and address potential risks proactively to prevent production-related incidents.

Complete any other relevant tasks as assigned by your line manager.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a life science discipline.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in lab management within academia or production management in the industry. Experience in core facilities or molecular biology CRO is a plus.

Hands-on experience in sequencing or molecular biology techniques.

Exceptional multitasking and organizational abilities.

Strong problem identification and resolution skills.

Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Reports to: CEO

Collaborates with: Commercial Team, R&D Team, and HQ Logistics Team
