The Role
The successful candidate will engage in diverse engineering tasks, including:
Installation, maintenance, and assembly of products.
Testing and documentation to ensure product quality assurance and operational standards.
Quality control of complex network infrastructure, particularly in hydrogen fuel cell and storage systems.
Development, implementation, and maintenance of innovative products to meet customer needs.
Extensive travel, anticipated at 45% or more, along with specialized training for task execution.

Main Responsibilities
Minimum of five years of hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and testing of telecommunications equipment in both Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) environments.
Expertise in interpreting and critiquing methods of procedure, engineering design packages, and associated as-builts for quality assurance and control.
Capability to learn and adapt to evolving technologies due to network upgrades and customer requirements.
Ability to work independently in the field, providing on-the-spot engineering solutions and recommendations for installations, alarms, and troubleshooting.
Compliance with established standard operating procedures, guidelines, and policies.
Experience with hydrogen fuel cell technology, including installation, testing, maintenance, and related documentation.
Physical capability to perform strenuous activities, such as lifting objects weighing a minimum of fifty pounds.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members towards common objectives.
Proficient use of telecommunications tools and testing equipment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for technical documentation and reporting.
Candidate Qualifications
At least five years of hands-on telecommunications field installation and maintenance experience.
Familiarity with hydrogen and fuel cell technology is highly desirable.
Exceptional troubleshooting and communication skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Experience with DC or AC power systems.
BICSI Certification in ISP/OSP is a plus.
Technical writing and documentation skills are beneficial.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Security Requirements
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Active TS/SCI Security Clearance is mandatory.
Must maintain eligibility for access to classified information.
Compensation
This position offers a competitive compensation range, with salary varying based on skills, experience, and location. The anticipated pay range for this role in Colorado is $87,117 - $116,156.
