We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our team as a Permanent VP of Engineering. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our Engineering department, driving innovation and excellence in a fast-paced and competitive industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in aerospace and process engineering, with proficiency in CNC programming and experience in designing fixtures and jigs. You will also have a proven track record in leading teams to deliver high-quality prototypes. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the Engineering department, setting a clear vision and strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals.

2. Drive the development and implementation of new engineering processes, ensuring they are efficient, cost-effective, and in line with industry best practices.

3. Oversee the design and production of fixtures and jigs, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.

4. Lead the CNC programming process, ensuring the production of high-quality components.

5. Oversee the prototype development process, ensuring prototypes are delivered on time and within budget.

6. Collaborate with other department heads to ensure the smooth integration of engineering processes across the company.

7. Develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.

8. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and creativity within the team.

9. Ensure all engineering activities comply with health and safety regulations and industry standards.

10. Represent the company at industry events and conferences, showcasing our engineering capabilities and innovations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the Engineering industry.

3. Extensive experience in aerospace and process engineering.

4. Proficiency in CNC programming, with a strong understanding of the latest technologies and techniques.

5. Experience in designing and producing fixtures and jigs.

6. Proven track record in leading teams to deliver high-quality prototypes.

7. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

8. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

9. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

10. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.

11. Ability to travel as required for industry events and meetings.

12. Proficiency in relevant software and applications.
