Summary
The Technical Senior Engineer designs and engineers state-of-the-art network solutions that support mission-critical operations. This role is responsible for creating detailed network architecture diagrams, overseeing the full lifecycle of network design, testing, and integration, and ensuring optimal performance and security. The SME serves as the primary expert on network technologies, providing insights, troubleshooting escalated issues, and leading technical briefings with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Design and implement advanced network solutions tailored to mission-critical operations.
Develop detailed network architecture diagrams to meet business and operational needs.
Oversee the full lifecycle of network design, testing, and integration, ensuring high performance and security.
Serve as the subject matter expert on network technologies, best practices, and troubleshooting escalated issues.
Lead technical briefings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges.
Ensure seamless integration and interoperability of network systems.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance network efficiency and security.
Support formal Army test, evaluation, and experimentation, integrating and transitioning new technologies. Required Qualifications & Experience
Active TS/SCI Clearance
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (minimum: Bachelor of Science)
Nine (9) years of directly traceable experience in:
Networking, integration, and test management within the C5ISR domain
Supporting formal Army test, evaluation, and experimentation
Working with various customers on technology integration, testing, and transition
Supporting lab and field risk reduction events as a Program Manager
Leading testing of multiple spectrum equipment at DoD locations
Supporting Amazon Web Services (AWS) Desired Skills
Fifteen (15) years of experience in:
Networking, Integration, and Testing
Managing U.S. Army integration laboratories (C5ISR)
Overseeing the testing and deployment of new technologies in military environments
Certifications (Required):
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
