The Mission
We are seeking a talented Senior Director to lead our Cloud Engineering practice. The Cloud Engineering Practice Leader will be responsible for leading, growing, and evolving our cloud engineering practice. This individual will set the technical vision, establish best practices, and ensure the successful delivery of cloud solutions for enterprise clients. The role requires deep expertise in AWS technologies, a strong business acumen, and the ability to lead a large, diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
Your Assignment
Key Responsibilities:
Practice Leadership: Define and execute the strategic vision for the Cloud Engineering Practice, ensuring alignment with company objectives and AWS best practices.
Technical Excellence: Establish and promote industry-leading methodologies, frameworks, and architectures for cloud-native solutions.
People Management: Lead and mentor a team of 200+ cloud engineers, architects, and consultants, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Delivery Excellence: Oversee the successful execution of cloud engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
AWS Partnership: Strengthen our collaboration with AWS, leveraging latest technologies and programs to enhance our service offerings.
Business Growth: Support pre-sales efforts, contribute to go-to-market strategies, and help drive revenue growth by aligning technical capabilities with business opportunities.
Innovation & Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends, drive innovation within the practice, and represent the company in conferences, webinars, and AWS-related events.
AI & Emerging Technologies Leadership: Drive the development and implementation of AI-powered cloud solutions.
Your Qualifications
15+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, or software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role at a professional services company
Proven experience leading and scaling a cloud engineering practice or department, ideally within an AWS-focused services company.
Deep expertise in AWS services, architectures, and best practices.
Strong background in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and cloud security.
Ability to drive business outcomes, manage budgets, and align technical capabilities with revenue goals.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with enterprise clients across various industries.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
AWS, Kubernetes, or HashiCorp Certifications

Base Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this position is $210,000 - $245,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Additional Compensation Components: In addition to the base salary, the compensation package may include bonuses, commissions, equity, and other incentives. The specific components will vary depending on the role and individual and/or company performance.
