Responsible for driving gasoline or diesel-powered commercially-licensed trucks to transport and deliver construction equipment and materials to and from job sites.
Responsibilities:
Drives truck to the destination and returns
Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations (including I.C.C. Regulations)
Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water
Completes pre-trip and post-trip truck inspection reports
Service and lubricate the engine and other moving parts if needed
Maintains accurate records on truck lubrication, service, and repairs
Work harmoniously, cooperatively, and courteously with others at all times
Follow directions and instructions from supervisors
Perform various tasks and duties that may often change as the work conditions require
Work within defined standards of accuracy
Perform all other duties as assigned
Required Skills or Abilities:
Valid CDL License
Clean MVR
Education and Experience:
On-the-job training offered.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to use arms and hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects.
Ability to perform frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted.
Must be able to see and hear well (naturally or with correction.)
